Blessed Realm (1994-2002): a Doom Metal band from Spennymoor, Durham, UK.

ebuting with the Crawl EP (2000) under the membership of Garry Sugden (bass), Jonny Sugden (guitar), Steve Gillham (vocals) and Chris Newby (drums), Blessed Realm who renamed themselves in 1994 from Tears after forming in 1993 to release a bunch of demos under that name, featuring a drum machine from 1995 until 1997, including the release of their Chasing the Dragon demo in 1996. They would follow it up with The Clearlight in 2002. The compilation, Doomography 1993 - 2002 was released in 2017 posthumously.
