Golden Dawn (1992-present): a Black Metal band from Salzburg, Salzburg, Austria.

ustrian act Golden Dawn was founded by Dreamlord (Real Name: Stefan Traunmüller; vocals/guitars/bass/keyboards) as a sole operation who would release The Art of Dreaming (1996), Masquerade (2003), Return to Provenance (2012), Early Obscurity... Part 1 EP (2017), Early Obscurity... Part 2 EP (2017) and Lullaby / Way of the Sorcerer compilation (2017). In the sole case of Return to Provenance, Dreamlord was joined by Moritz Neuner (drums), Sebastian Reiter (guitars (lead)/guitars (acoustic)/bass) and Karim E. Kienzle (guitars (lead, rhythm)). Several split albums would be released as well.

Footnote: Golden Dawn was part of the 'Austrian Black Metal Syndicate', along with Abigor, Cromm, Knechte des Schreckens, Pazuzu, Pervertum, Summoning, Trifixion, and Vuzem.
