Xerath (2007-2017): a Groove Metal band from Basingstoke, Hampshire, UK.

ith the membership of Michael Pitman (drums), Owain Williams (guitars/bass), Richard Thomson (ex-Pentakill; vocals) and Andy Phillips (ex-Chaos Incarcerated; guitars) Xerath would release I. For the follow-up, II (2011), Chris Clarke took bass, while on III (2014), Conor McGouran (now of The Enigma Division) assumed guitars. The band announced its disbandment on February 1, 2017 via Facebook. Their planned fourth album, often mentioned and referred to as 'IV' or 'IIII', was never completed. The EP The Covers was released posthumously, however, in 2023.
