Dark Philosophy (2004-present): a Black Metal band from Cairo, Egypt.

nder the membership of Amr Abou Elezz (guitars), Noor Mephisto (vocals/bass), Hisham A. Elsayed (drums) and Ahmed Shabasy (guitars), Dark Philosophy would debut with the demo, The World of Barzakh (2004). By the time their EP studio recording proper arrived two years later in the form of Shrouded, Ahmed Ismail (guitars/vocals (backing)) and Amira (keyboards) had joined. A much larger membership change was on display for 50,000 Years (2011) with E.O. Islam (bass), Ahmed Ismail (guitars), Amr Abou El-Ezz (guitars), Noor Mephisto (vocals) and Tariq Zulficar (drums). The act has been silent since.
