Black PyramidBIOGRAPHYBlack Pyramid (2007-2013, 2015-present): a Doom Metal band from Northampton, Massachusetts, USA. T he doom metal/stoner metal crossover band, Black Pyramid was founded in 2007 and after a sort of false-start they settled in with Clay Neely (drums), Eric Beaudry (bass) and Andy Beresky (guitars/vocals) to release a self-titled EP in 2008. Billing themselves as "psychedelic war metal", this power trio also incorporated elements of doom and classic heavy metal to evoke a mix of downtuned rumblings and apocalyptic lyrics of war, the occult, religion and alienation. The band would attain significant attention from the stoner/doom metal circles with the aforementioned debut EP and quickly sign to 'MeteorCity Records' not long after. After Dave Gein took over bass, Black Pyramid (2009). After several split albums and the 2011 compilation Stormbringer, II would arrive in 2012. The band has always been a three-some and Darryl Shepard assumed guitars/vocals for Adversarial (2013). Another split arrived in 2020.
