Hammerstar (2020-present): a Hammerstar band from Indiana, USA.

he act that would become Hammerstar was the brainchild of vocalist Quimby Lewis (Skullview) along with Johnny Frankenshred (Commandment/Exiled/Frankenshred; guitar) met up during the pandemic and it seemed the right time to work on a heavy metal masterpiece.

Their intention was to record the 'ultimate classic heavy metal' album, kind of a tribute to all the heavy metal bands they we grew up on, but still maintaining their own original sound and style. Along with Robbie Erwin (bass), 'Atomic' Tommy Higgins (drums) they would debut with a self-titled album in 2022.
