ailing from Nepean (near Ottawa), Canada, Circuit formed in 1995 when guitarist Dallas joined forces with singer Michael James, who had responded to his ad on the Internet. Soon after Dave MacDonald (bass), Jeff Jobling (guitar) and Michael Derstroff (drums) would join in the fun. Their career started quickly when, in 1995, Circuit's first published single, Everything To Me, got airplay on the two largest rock stations in Ottawa. In 1996 their memorabilia got showcased at the local hard rock Cafe after winning an achievement award on the Canadian cable network YTV (Youth Television) and their awards show. Circuit have performed for many local and national charity events, as well as some of the provinces largest clubs and numerous other cable network shows for interviews. In 1997 their first self-titled EP sold 500 copies.
