eird-o-rama or what!! The sublime becomes the ridiculous real fast here. The lyrics are written partly in English and partly in a fictional language created by the band. Oxxö Xööx also mixes the symbols of yin and yang/ouroboros/binary coded decimal system (0110 = 6 and 1001 = 9). Oxxö Xööx therefore means 69, symbolizing the desire for sublimation: transforming the 6 into 9 (find again the original light). The egregious overuse of umlauts is but one sign that something is weird here. The style is dense, choppy, symphonic doom, with death like and operatic vocals intertwining angular and ever-shifting riffs.
