isted in Diskery as a rock band since it has no category for this stoner rock band, Stoner started in 2020 to thus far release a single album Stoners Rule (2021) under the membership of Brant Bjork (ex-Fu Manchu/ex-Kyuss/Vista Chino; vocals/guitars), Nick Oliveri (ex-Kyuss, ex-Masters of Reality, ex-Queens Of The Stone Age, Vista Chino; bass) and Ryan Güt (drums). It is important to note that this band is an offshoot of the Kyuss lineage by featuring the original Kyuss rhythm section. The debut album was a bluesy, desert-y affair, with relaxed musicianship and a bit of an improv/studio feel. Although this effort has all the triggers of being a one-off, the membership claims they're in it for the long haul.
