Battlecross (2003-2022): a Thrash Metal band from Canton, Michigan, USA.

he band that would become Battlecross was founded in 2003 by Tony Asta (guitar) and Hiran Deraniyagala (guitar) as childhood best friends and neighbors while attending Salem High School. Soon later, Jay Saling and Marshall Wood would both try vocals, while Jason Leone tried drums until Don Slater (bass) and Kyle "Gumby" Gunther (vocals) came in for the release of Push Pull Destroy (2010; Kyle "Gumby" Gunther was still on the recording for vocals) and Pursuit of Honor (2011) and War of Will (2013). For Rise to Power (2015) Alex Bent assumed drums but he didn't last for later that year he was replaced with Brian Zink. 2012-2015 were interesting years for the band when it came to drummers for Brent wasn't the only person to occupy the stool during that time. Josean Orta, Adam Pierce and Kevin Talley had all given it a go. They have been on hold since 2022.
