ot to be confused with the band from Wisconsin two decades earlier, this incarnation of Blacklist featured Joshua Strawn (vocals/guitar), Ryan Rayhill (bass), Glenn Maryansky (drums) and James Minor (guitar). The act's style was referred to as atmospheric modern rock that was "anthemic", "darkly erotic, strangely sensual" with influences in the style of My Bloody Valentine, Motorhead, Black Sabbath, Comsat Angels, Killing Joke and The Sound. They would release one album and two EPs in the form of Midnight of the Century (2009), Blacklist (2006; EP), Solidaire (2007; EP); the self-titled being self-released while the others were released through the newly formed 'Weird Records'.
