Nirvana 2002BIOGRAPHY Nirvana 2002 (1988-1992, 2007-2012): a Death Metal band from Edsbyn, Sweden. N ot to be confused with the very famous Nirvana from America, Nirvana 2002 would originally be named Prophet 2002, then Nirvana, before merging the two names. They would release a bunch of demos, but their only recording release proper would be a compilation of the lot titled Recordings 89-91 (2009). The membership shifted over the years but in total it would feature Erik Qvick (drums (1988-1992, 2007-2012)), Orvar Säfström (guitar/vocals (1988-1992, 2007-2012)), Lars Henriksson (bass (1990-1992, 2007-2012)), Erik Wallin (guitars; live (2010-2012)) and Robert Eriksson (drums; live (2006)).
