hree-piece thrash metal band Black Mass formed in early 2012 as a power trio with a focus for the "true sound of thrash", the band derived influences from 80s thrash band like Slayer and Razor, and old school death metal like Death and Morbid Angel, as well as Scandinavian black metal like that of Darkthrone and Aura Noir), with an infusion of overcharged rock n' roll like Motorhead and Inepsy.

Under the membership of Cristian Azevedo (bass/vocals (backing)), Brendan O'hare (vocals/guitars; ex-Abstruktor), Alex Fewell (drums) who replaced original member Yianni Tranxidis in 2016, Black Mass would release The Second Coming EP (2013), Ancient Scriptures (2015), Warlust (2019) and Feast at the Forbidden Tree (2021). Warlust followed in 2022.
