Big MeteorBIOGRAPHYBig Meteor (1998-present): a Rock band from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. V ocalist, guitarist and songwriter David Wimble was a newcomer to the music industry when he recorded his debut solo CD Big Meteor with his band of indie musicians of the same name. Performing with Larry Wayne Church (back vocals/guitar), Daryl Logan (backing vocals/mandolin/harmonica/bass guitar/slide guitar), Eduardo Flores (drums), Victor Nesrallah (keyboards), Peter Brown (piano) and Danny Artuso (steel guitar) with special guest performance by Whistlin' Ian Davidson, his Big Meteor recording would be launched and made available nationally in Canada; he would be picked up internationally by 'Emperor Multimedia's Diskery' distribution system (back in the days when it sold music). The album featured a hybrid of rock, jazz and country with folk like lyrics centering on personal experiences that everyone could relate to. It was an honest and simple recording but his dreams of expanding the band for future did not come to fruition. David Wimble pursued a career in publishing with a book dedicated to assist indie musicians with industry contacts over the Internet, eventually getting a major publishing contract.
