Carpathian Forest

riginally named Enthrone, Carpathian Forest is another project of Nattefrost (Real Name: Roger Rasmussen; bass (1992, 1998)/guitars/keyboards (1992-2017)/vocals) whose 2017 membership also included Slakt (Real Name: Kjetil Dyvik Løksli; bass), Audun (Real Name: Audun Ulleland; drums), Malphas (Real Name: Thomas Myrvold; guitars) and Erik Gamle (guitars).

Formed in 1990 with just Lord Karnstein (bass/guitars/keyboards/vocals (backing)) and Lord Nosferatu (a.k.a. Natterfrost; bass/keyboards/vocals), they would change their name in 1992 after the Black Winds demo in 1991.

In the past, the membership also included: Damnatus (bass (1992-1993)), J. Nordavind (Real Name: Johnny Krøvel; bass (1992, 1998)/guitars/Keyboards/vocals (backing) (1992-2000)), Lord Blackmangler (drums (1992-1993)), Lazare (Real Name: Lars Are Nedland; drums (1998-1999)), Tchort (Real Name: Terje Vik Schei; bass (1999-2009)/guitars (1999-2009, 2012-2014)), Vrangsinn (Real Name: Daniel Vrangsinn Salte; bass/keyboards/vocals (backing) (1999-2014)/guitars (2002)), A. Kobro (Real Name: Anders Kobro; drums (1999-2014)) and Blood Pervertor (Real Name: Gøran Bomann; guitars/vocals (backing) (2003-2014)).
