Dark Monarchy

onceptualized in 2001 by Archon Øktober (Real Name: David Cornett; guitar/vocals), Dark Monarchy would see the light of day; two demo's and numerous ex-members later, Troll (Real Name: Daniel Collabolletta; drums), Nekross (Real Name: Martin Collins; guitars), Purgatoria (bass/backing vocals) and Mortegrim (guitars/bass) rounded out the lineup. Poisoned Thorns of Human Sorrow (2005) and Seven Visions into the Epoch of Holocaust (2006), marked the band's first assaults on humanity. In a band statement they gleefully commented, "In conjunction with it's release the band is spreading its hateful vomit across the United States." In 2008 they'd change their name to Strigoi VII.
