Cut ThroatBIOGRAPHYCut Throat (1997-present): a Power Metal band from Van Nuys, California, USA. T ired of being told what they should play, Cut Throat formed in 1997 with Sean Okin (vocals), Darwin DeVitis (guitar/vocals), Ken Snyder (guitar/vocals), John Anderson (bass/vocals) and J.D. Wagner (drums), to play the style of hard rock they loved. Their self-titled 1998 debut was a rough cut and heavily influenced by the L.A. scene, but was nonetheless a worthy recording. It also contained a multimedia section with two videos on the disc for Bullet and Pray For Your Love. Before their second opus, Wagner was replaced with Ramsay Bisharah. That second recording, Slave (2001), received high acclaim in the underground press and was a more refined effort. Cut Throat shared the stage with some of the best, like W.A.S.P., Warrant, Slaughter, Tesla, Flotsam and Jetsam, Sebastian Bach, Gilby Clark and others. Ken Snyder would release several albums under his own name.
