UndertowBIOGRAPHYUndertow (1994-2001): a Hard Rock band from Cobourg, Ontario, Canada. A ll three were vocalists and all three played instruments. Rick Hubbard (bass/vocals), and brothers Dave Haywood (drums/vocals) and Aaron Haywood (guitar/vocals) founded the band Undertow in their home neighboring towns of Port Hope and Cobourg Ontario, Canada playing the commercial/classic rock style of AC/DC, Kiss, and throwing in a 1990s edge for good measure. They released two demos, the first, a seven track of original material titled Easy Way Out, landed them the second track on 'Emperor Multimedia's' premier release compilation, The Alliance, in 1999. Winning several "Battle Of The Bands" contests and regular gigging around Central and Eastern Ontario further extended their popularity. In 2001, they would change their name citing conflicts with too many other bands trying to claim the name. Rick Hubbard would also depart the operation soon after.
