Business OperationsDid Someone Try to Buy Diskery?Believe it or not, we have received several unsolicited inquiries over the years. We won't get into the details of who, when, or how much was discussed -- negotiations never progressed far, and it's unclear whether any party could have completed such a transaction. We want to be clear: Diskery is not for sale. Diskery is a project of passion, and it has already been willed to a successor should the founder pass, making it a legacy project as well. Many years -- and a great deal of personal investment -- have gone into this "hobby." There is no buy-out plan, no exit strategy, and no intention to "sell out." According to our constitution, "No part of Diskery may be sold off." We remain proudly independent. That said, Diskery is operated with the professionalism of a business. We understand why some may find the technology, database, audience, domain history, or long-term investment potential appealing. If you are seriously considering such an idea, we encourage you to research our organization, its history, its founder, its mandate, its technology, and its culture. While we appreciate genuine interest, please understand that we are not actively seeking buyers. For security reasons, we ask that you do not send inquiries by email, as anyone can create one freely. If you must contact us on this matter, please use registered mail declaring who you verifiably are, and your offer. Diskery is intellectual property with real value, and such an approach shows the respect it deserves. Record #: 65 Related Subjects:
