ConfessorBIOGRAPHYConfessor (1990-1992, 2000-present): a Doom Metal band from North Carolina, USA. N orth Carolina band Confessor signed with 'Earache Records' in the early 1990s, but their style was unlike the standard Hardcore and Death oriented bands normally associated with that label, instead opting for a more doom inspired musical style with wailing vocals. Featuring the line-up of Scott Jeffreys (vocals), Brian Shoaf (guitar), Cary Rowells (bass), Stephen Shelton (drums) and Ivan Colon (guitar) they released Condemned (1991) and Confessor EP (1992). But the act split soon after; the rhythm section later forming Fly Machine. But in 2002 the band came back together, playing a benefit gig for recently deceased guitarist Ivan Colon, and decided to carry on but no publication has come as of yet.
