TraumaBIOGRAPHYTrauma (1981-1985, 2013-present): a Speed Metal band from San Francisco, California, USA. M ost noted for being the band that originated bassist Cliff Burton, who was featured with them on their Metal Massacre compilation debut but would go to Metallica, Trauma recorded their debut and only recording of their original era Scratch and Scream in 1984 featuring Donny Hillier (R.I.P. 2020 of lung disease; vocals), Ross Alexander (guitar), Michael Overton (guitar), Lucas Advincula (bass; replacing Burton) and Kris Gustafson (drums). They split soon after. Fast forward several decades to 2013 and the reformation of Trauma with the release of Rapture and Wrath (2015) under the reformed membership of Hillier and Gustofson now with Marcel Eaton on bass, and Kurt Fry on guitars and backing vocals. As the World Dies (2018) would see yet another line-up change to feature Steve Robello (guitars), Greg Christian (bass) and Joe Fraulob (guitars).
