DethronementBIOGRAPHYDethronement (1996-2003): a Death Metal band from Vaxjo, Sweden. F ormed in late 1996 by members of local acts from Vaxjo, Sweden, Dethronement started out singing music about food attacking humans under the name Bacon Warriors [yes: Bacon] with the membership using the names of Gore in My Head (Real Name: Jörgen Ornhem; bass/vocals), Adde Mitroulis (Real Name: Andreas Mitroulis; drums/vocals), Goatlord (Real Name: Johan Jonasson; guitars) and The Mad Arab (Real Name: Amir; guitars) to release one demo in 1995 called Killer Tomatoe before reforming as Dethronement in 1996 where they switched to their Real Names and fired The Mad Arab. As Dethronement, the line up consisted of Jorgen Ornhem (vocals/bass), Johan Johansson (guitar) and Andreas Mitroulis (drums). It was in early 1997 when Dethronement completed their first studio recording, a nine track tape; four of these tracks would subsequently be placed on a demo entitled simply Promo-97. In 2000 they obtained the services of a new guitar player in the form of Robert Lilja, which prompted performances around their hometown. A follow-up demo, Astral Serenity (1997), would be the next effort. Breeding The Demonseed, their next demo attempt, was released in June 1998 and it received a warm welcome. It also featured Johan Orre added to guitars, but he would be gone soon after the release. Later that year, 'Loud N' Proud Records' signed them and in June 1999 they released their debut full length, Survival Of The Sickest. A follow-up LP, World of Disgust was planned but never released. The band called it quits after the Steel Manufactured Death demo in 2002 with Robert Lilja on guitars.
