Dim MakBIOGRAPHYDim Mak (1996-2002, 2006-present): a Death Metal band from Red Bank, New Jersey, USA. B eing more or less continuation of a band known as Ripping Corpse, who recorded one album in 1991 before disbanding two years later, Dim Mak was the formation of three members from that band, Shaune Kelley (ex-Ripping Corpse/ex-The Beast/ex-Hydrocephalic/ex-Flesh Consumed/ex-Hate Eternal/ex-Acid Reich; guitars), Scott Hornick (ex-Alas/ex-Faust/ex-Ripping Corpse; bass) and Brandon Thomas (ex-Ripping Corpse/ex-The Conspiracy Chronicles/ex-The Dying Light/ex-Burnt by the Sun/ex-The Uglies; drums) along with Scott Ruth (ex-The Beast, ex-The Conspiracy Chronicles, ex-Ripping Corpse, ex-The Uglies; vocals) and Dennis Carroll (ex-The Conspiracy Chronicles, Tick Nonstop, ex-Torture Krypt; bass) ended up here to release Enter the Dragon in 1999. The second album, Intercepting Fist (2002) was produced by Erik Rutan (now of Morbid Angel fame), while the third, Knives of Ice (2006), saw a line change to feature John Longstreth take drums. Footnote: The name 'Dim Mak' comes from the Chinese martial arts "Death Touch" a name for pressure points that are able to cause instant death. The members of the band are all martial arts fans.
