t would be six years of demos (and a compilation of those demos) before Crystal Eyes would finally debut with World of Black and Silver (1999) and In Silence They March (2000) under the line-up of Mikael Dahl (vocals/guitars/keyboards/lyrics: tracks 2, 3, 6-8, 10), Claes Wikander (bass/keyboards), Kujtim Gashi (drums) and Jonathan Nyberg (guitars).

For Vengeance Descending (2003), Stefan Svantesson took drums, while Confessions of the Maker (2005) saw Daniel Heiman take lead vocals. The vocal role was swapped again with Søren Nico Adamsen taking it on Dead City Dreaming (2006). Chained (2008) saw Paul Petterson on guitars a long side Dahl, a slot taken again on Killer (2014) by Niclas Karlsson. A third time the guitarslot would change hands, this time on Starbourne Traveler (2019) by Jonatan Hallberg; this album would also see Henrik Birgersson take drums.
