nder the membership of Håkan Morberg (bass/lyrics), Thomas Johnson (drums), Klas Morberg (vocals/guitars/lyrics) and Stefan Pöge (guitars (lead)), Desultory would debut with Into Eternity (1993) after several demo attempts and a compilation of those demos. Bitterness (1994), Swallow the Snake (1996), Counting Our Scars (2010) and Through Aching Aeons (2017) followed. It is interesting to note that Stefan Pöge left the band in 1995, leaving the album Swallow the Snake being written and recorded without him and no replacement until Håkan Morberg switched to lead guitars and Jojje Bohlin taking over bass on recordings thereafter. This explains the drastic change in style. That membership would go on to form Zebulon.
