riginally under the name Jarretelles, Satan Jokers under the line-up of Renaud Hantson (vocals/drums/piano: track 6), Laurent Bernat (R.I.P. 2004; bass), Stéphane Bonneau (guitars) and Pierre Guiraud (vocals) would debut with Les fils du métal (1983) to be followed with Trop fou pour toi (1984) and III (EP; 1985).

There was a near-complete reforming of the band for SJ 2009 (2009) with Hantson now joined by Pascal Mulot (bass), Michaël Zurita (guitars (lead)) and Olivier Spitzer (guitars (rhythm)), while for Fetish X (2009) the line-up shifted again to include Aurélien Ouzoulias added on drums (tracks 3, 5) and Nicolas Espinasse (guitars). Along with their lyrical content Addictions (2011), Psychiatric (2013), Sex opéra (2014) and Symphönïk Kömmandöh (2018).
