King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard

T

his remarkably prolific act has had the equally remarkably stable line-up of Lucas Skinner (bass), Michael Cavanagh (drums), Cook Craig (guitars), Joey Walker (guitars/keyboards), Ambrose Kenny-Smith (harmonica/keyboards/vocals (backing)) and Stu Mackenzie (vocals/guitars), with only Eric Moore (drums/theremin (2010-2020)) as a former member. Not to be confused with the stoner metal/doom metal band Lizzard Wizzard also from Australia, this band is a hybrid of many styles from jazz to progressive rock, garage rock, and psychedelic but they are entered into our database because of two recordings, Infest the Rats' Nest and PetroDragonic Apocalypse of doom metal and thrash metal.
