Heavens FireBIOGRAPHYHeavens Fire (1998-2000, 2012-present): a Progressive Metal band from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. T oronto act Heavens Fire formed from the ashes of Arsin. By a strange twist of fate, Mike Mackinnon (drums/vocals) died in a house fire in 2000 and the band split up immediately after. To this point the band had released only a single album in the form of The Outside (1998) with James Theoharis "TJ" Harris (guitars/vocals), Mike "Mic-Mac" MacKinnon (R.I.P. 2000; drums/vocals (backing)) and Andy NArsingh (vocals/bass/keyboards). The act reformed in 2012 to release a follow-up, Judgement Day (2013) under the membership of Harris with Alexis Von Kraven (drums) and Darren James Smith (vocals (lead)). The third effort, Playing with Fire followed in with Rafael Bennett on vocals. In 2019 Maxel Black (of-Purveyor of Chaos/ex-Krakatoa/ex-Penetrator/of-The Blackness/ex-Mastery) assumed vocals. Back in 2007, an attempt was made to reform Arsin, but this never came to pass.
