Savage Messiah (2007-present): a Thrash Metal band from London, UK.

ormed in London in 2007, Savage Messiah was started by Dave Silver (vocals/guitars) immediately following the collapse of his previous act Headless Cross. After adding Andy Faulkner for drum programming and bass (track 4), and Ben Perry (percussion/drums) and R. Goss (guitars (additional rhythm, second solo on track 1) for session work, the debut self-financed EP, Spitting Venom was released on 1 October 2007 by the band's own label, 'SMR Productions'. Production costs were reduced because some of the tracks were previously recorded by Headless Cross.

In January 2009, the band signed to 'Candlelight Records', and entered the studio with Grammy-nominated producer Chris Tsangarides to record their first full-length album, Insurrection Rising (2009) under the full membership of Silver (vocals/guitars), Sasha Krohn (bass), Ernie Nogara (drums) and Sy Taplin (guitars). The album was mixed by Scott Atkins (Cradle of Filth, Gama Bomb, Sylosis), and would be the start of a long term working relationship between the band and Atkins. Immediately after release the act immediately hit the road as support to Overkill for a 19 date European Tour as well as picking up additional support shows with Sylosis, Death Angel and playing festivals such as Hellfire Festival at the Birmingham NEC with bands such as Saxon and Napalm Death, and Hammerfest with Iced Earth, Five Finger Death Punch and Suicidal Tendencies among others.

Now on 'Earache Records' Plague of Conscience, once again with producer Scott Atkins, followed in 2012 featuring Silver with yet another whole new line-up in the form of Mauricio Chamucero (drums), Joff Bailey (guitars) and Stefano Selvatico (bass).

In June 2012, the band contributed a cover version of the Metallica song Of Wolf and Man to the Kerrang! Magazine A Tribute to the Black Album CD released on 20 June 2012.

The Fateful Dark (2014) followed with Andrea Gorio taking drums.

January 2015 saw the band as an opening act for Amon Amarth and Huntress.

In February 2015, 'Warner Brothers Records' announced the Metal Matters compilation including songs from Deep Purple, Slipknot, MC5 and others, including the Savage Messiah track Hellblazer amongst them.

In 2016, the band performed on several tours in the UK and Europe, opening for Testament, Trivium and Armored Saint. Hands of Fate (2017) with Mira Slama on bass and Sam S Junior on guitars and vocals (backing) now on 'Century Media' would follow.

Demons (2019) with David Hruska (guitars) and Charly Carretón (drums). Later that year the band's ranks would swell when former lead guitarist Joff Bailey reunited with the band while Carlos Alcalde De Lema would be added on keyboards, but Hruska would soon after depart.
