Deepest SymphonyBIOGRAPHYDeepest Symphony (1999-2001, 2001-present): a Industrial Metal band from Newark, Ohio, USA. B ased in Ohio, USA. and founded in 1999, Deepest Symphony was a collaboration of David Spencer and Daniel Wells. Their music has been described as a combination of "death metal" and "Dark Mood Music". It's actually a combination of death metal, Industrial and Hardcore. The pair had previously played in various projects over the years as friends, but did not work together until this project. Peccant Subterfuge was their self-financed EP published on Cassette tape in 1999. It received international distribution by Canadian label 'Emperor Multimedia', but went no farther. The symphony hall was thought closed when the band regrouped in 2000 to record 4 new tracks for an EP entitled Mephitic Cogitations. Two of the songs, "Mind Pull", and, "Calculated Demise", made it into MP3 format for Internet distribution, peaking at number 2 competing with bands such as Cannibal Corpse, Nile and Six Feet Under for chart position.Fueled by this momentum, they began working with a small independent record label in the Midwest for the release of Mephitic Cogitations. However it eventually became apparent that there was an overall difference in philosophies between the two parties and the relationship was mutually parted. Read All... ⏬ Through 2001 they continued to promote the band but engaged in a sound that would allow them to sell their music to the masses. In the later part of 2002 after some time off they launched their plans. At the beginning of 2003, with a focus on the music like never before, things began coming together in the studio. The first result of this new master plan was the release of the newest Deepest Symphony track Age of Consequence as a single for all to hear in February 2003. It was followed up in 2006 with the Psycho 101 album. Jeff Smith (drums/backing vocals) would join the band for touring purposes, tours that has seen the act share the stage with the likes of: Hanzel und Gretyl, Project 44 and Slick Idiot .
