Kimmo Kuusniemi Band

riginally starting out as Sarcofagus in 1977 and then reverting back to it after, Kimmo Kuusniemi Band lasted only one year and one album. The name change was prompted by the record label who refused to release anything while they kept their old moniker. The project was ended soon after the release of the one and only Moottorilinnut (1982) album under the membership of Esa Kotilainen (keyboards), Juha Kiminki (bass), Urpo "Upi" Sorvali (R.I.P. 1989; drums), Kimmo Kuusniemi (guitars), Jukka Ritari (vocals: tracks 2, 5, 7), Muska Babitzin (vocals: tracks 1, 4, 8) and Kirka Babitzin (R.I.P. 2007; vocals: tracks 3, 6). The act reverted back to their old name for a second try due to disappointing sales.
