nder the membership of Jaakko Oksanen (bass), Rolle Heinonen (guitars) and Markus Heinonen (vocals/guitars/synthesizeresizer), Astral Sleep would release Unawakening (2008). Jiri Pyörälä would take drums for the follow-up EP, Angel (2010), as well as their sophomore album, Visions (2012), and the EPs Subconsciousnesslesskoe (2015), Vril EP (2020) and Integratron(2020).

By the time Astral Doom Musick (2020) and We Are Already Living in the End of Times (2023) came about, Aaro Haverinen had stepped in for guitar to replace Rolle Heinonen as well as taking up percussion and kantele. That same year, founding member Rolle Heinonen returned as "occasional" keyboard player.
