Powergame

n 2012 and with the membership of McZ (Real Name: Marc Zimmermann; bass), Marco "Grobi" Hilbrink (drums), Tobi (Real Name:Tobias Hoppe; guitars), Mätty (Real Name: Matthias Weiner; vocals) and Mattes (guitars), Powergame would arrive on the scene with Beast on the Attack (2015). This would be followed up with Masquerade in 2019 featuring KG (Real Name: Klaus-Gerald Fedeler) assuming the drums. The EP, The Lockdown Tapes (2020) would follow.

Like Iron Maiden before, Powergame features their own wrath-form-the-grave mascot in the form of El Demonio Negro, a muscular Mexican wrestler, who appears on each of the album covers. He would appear again on Slaying Gods (2022). The album this time also featuring Marc-Philipp Längert replacing Hoppe on guitars.
