A Faster NowBIOGRAPHY A Faster Now (2001-present): a Punk band from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. A lthough they are archived in this database as punk, their sound boasts thrash metal as well; they have been in fact a punk influenced act in what may be a new genre they dub "Punk-Metal". Their sound has traditionally had punk rock vocals, serious lyrics with a thrash metal backing. Starting in 2001, punk rock/heavy metal act A Faster Now came from Toronto to play the local taverns on the mostly punk rock circuit featuring Mark Carlos (drums), Terry Kulaga (guitar/vocals) and Jimmy Nunes (bass/vocals) and released a debut self-titled EP.
