Jonathan Davis and the SFABIOGRAPHYJonathan Davis and the SFA (2007-2014): a Nu-Metal band from Bakersfield Beach, California, USA. H Jonathan Davis is better known as the frontman for Korn, but for a time he engaged in the side project Jonathan Davis and the SFA (Simply Fucking Amazings). The band functioned as a musical collective, with a rotating cast of musicians involved with the project centered around Jonathan Davis' songwriting. Although the project never officially released any studio material, two live albums were released in the form of Alone I Play (2007) and Live at the Union Chapel (2011) with the rotating membership of Davis performing with Shenkar (double violin/backing vocal), Miles Mosley (contrabass/occasional keyboards/backing vocals), Ray Luzier (drums/percussion), Wes Borland (session guitars), Michael Jochum (drums/percussion), Shane Gibson (R.I.P.; acoustic guitar/backing vocals) and Zac Baird (keyboards/backing vocals). Davis cut the project soon after the death of Gibson in April 2014 following complications from a blood clotting disorder. Davis went back to the recording of a solo album and to his duties at Korn.
