The DroguesBIOGRAPHYThe Drogues (2003-present): a Hard Rock band from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. U nder the line-up of Colin John (guitar/vocals), Tas (vocals/bass) and Jeff (drums), The Drogues formed in early 2003 to produce hard rock with punk and early '90s influences like Nirvana, Soundgarden and Silverchair, along with older rock influences of Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Sex Pistols and The Beatles featuring lyrics challenging universal issues of contemporary social power structures in the grind of day-to-day life. Within only two months of forming they were performing at the local Fox And Hounds, a Mecca for local bands, and quickly advanced to many of Edmonton's more "A" clubs like Side Track Cafe and Kings Knight Pub, not to mention influential radio stations like CKMS in London, Ontario culminating in their debut 2004 album release, Doesn't Mean A Thing. ** This article is also available on our official app.
