eleasing a self-titled album as a debut in 2015, Tau Cross would feature Rob (The Baron) Miller (bass/vocals/lyrics/songwriting), Michel (Away) Langevin (drums), Jon Misery (Real Name: John Greenslit; guitars) and Andy Lefton (guitars). Pillar of Fire would follow in 2017, with Tom Radio taking bass.

The band's third album, Messengers of Deception (2020) saw the band reduced to a three-piece with only Miller now with Talamh on drums, and The Kurgan on guitars, was originally scheduled for release on August 8th, 2019, but was ultimately withdrawn by 'Relapse Records' due to Miller thanking a Holocaust denier in the liner notes. The label reportedly destroyed all the pressed records; however, an unknown number of copies somehow survived and got into the band's possession. Tau Cross was then dropped. Additionally, the controversy caused all the previous members to leave the band. After lying dormant for the remainder of 2019, the band, resurfaced with a new aforementioned line-up in 2020.
