Cemetary 1213

athias Lodmalm first started with Cemetary, but after shutting that operation down he formed a band called Sundown (named after an album from the former band) for a time. Cemetary 1213 was a return of sorts to the original band, more toward it's more gothic later period. The '1213' suffix was in reference to the Cemetary song 1213 - Transgalactica, and was meant to signal a rebirth as opposed to simply reforming the old band, though there may have been legal reasons for the addition. The line-up featured Mathias Lodmalm (ex-Cemetary/ex-Sundown; vocals/guitar), Manne Engström (guitar/vocals), Vesa Veikko Juhani Kenttäkumpu (bass) and Christian Silver (ex-Sundown; drums). Their first and subsiquently only album, The Beast Divine (2000), featured a new chapter for Ladmalm with heavier guitars and a more upbeat mood than his past works. But after his departure with 'Century Media' and dabbling in non-Metal projects, he wold fold the act to reform Cemetary albeit as the only member.
