emaining an obscure heavy metal band from the USA, Brocas Helm has been around since the early eighties. Their sound has remained traditional but has displayed enough of it's own elements to make it unique featuring a dark and moody sound with speed metal and thrash metal elements. Over their career they have boasted several releases including their debut album Into Battle (1984; named after their demo of the same name), featuring Jack Hays (drums), Bobbie Wright (guitars/vocals) and Jim Schumacher (bass).

Their debut would be followed by Black Death (1988) featuring added member Tom "T-Bone" Behney (guitars) for selected tracks, Ghost Story EP (1994), Time Of The Dark single (1997), Blood Machine single (2000), Black Death (2002; picture disc), Black Death in Athens (2004; live), and Defender of the Crown (2004).
