EngineBIOGRAPHY Engine (1998-2002): a Power Metal band from Los Angeles, California, USA. T he solo project Engine started when vocalist Ray Alder (of Fates Warning) recruited his other Fates Warning buddies during the band's downtime Bernie Versailles (ex-Agent Steel/ex-Redemption/of Fates Warning; guitar), Joey Vera (ex-Armored Saint/of Fates Warning; bass) and Pete Parada (ex-Steel Prophet; drums) to release two albums thus far of groove oriented power metal in the form of Engine (1999) and Superholic (2002) on the 'Metal Blade' label. The band have not released since and are presumed gone.
