Think you have what it takes to get your releases reviewed and stored in our archives?
It is easier than you think and it's FREE!
To submit your entry tell us the title, the band, the year of publication, the company it was published by and your opinion of the record. Send graphics if you like (keep them small). The RRCA reserves the right to publish what it deems fit. You are welcome to submit as often as you like! We don't just take new releases either, even your past ones are welcomed! Send us your band biography and get yourself into our biography database as well.
The RRCA has a massive database archiving hundreds of artists, this database is accessed by record buyers and consumers around the world every day free of charge! You also get added to our regular E-mail news letters and could be approached by Emperor Multimedia for further promotion by having your music included on compilation albums and multimedia recordings.
If you have a band and want exposure through this record review section please don't submit a review of yourself! This, in the end, is counter productive. Send a copy of your album or demo (all expenses paid) to the RRCA including the above information and it will be reviewed in a non-bias journalistic manner. Everything is kept on permanent file and the Copyright laws are respected. Sorry we cannot return submitted items.
Please send only: Cassettes, CD's or 33/45RPM Vinyl. Only in special circumstances are old 78s or 8-Track systems accepted. No other format can be played. If possible send as much information on you as you can (bios, press releases, etc -- the same you would send to any radio or print media).
All genres of traditional rock are reviewed here. This includes Pop, oldies-pop/rockabily, classic, punk, hard rock and heavy metal including the heavy metal sub-genres of: NWOBHM, Classic, Death, Goth, Progessive, Black, Industrial and Thrash.
PLEASE submit actual hard stock. Do not ask the web operator (me) to visit a web site or download an MP3. HE ISN'T GOING TO. There just isn't time and quite often these end off not being the best representation of your work. After other materials are received such requests will be honoured.
Submitting your work for review is an excellent way to gage how others feel about your work, a great opportunity for marketing exposure and it's just an over-all fun thing to do! A WIN-WIN situation.
Remember you have to tell the world you are here. It's better you tell us and stand out in the crowd then we discover you at the local record shop and lump you in the queue with all the rest. SUBMISSION GUARANTEES A REVIEW!
Getting a review here also has other benefits. Your review and album art is seen around the world. You will also be placed on our mailing list for future promotional opportunities such as compilation CDs, books featuring bands, sales/distribution opportunities, etc. Plus your review is permanently archived for the world to see. And if you have a web site we make a link to it in our search engine.
For a more complete promotion see the: Band Promotions page.
DISCLAIMER: Please note that the RRCA does not guarantee that your exposure at this site will lead to increased sales, radio play, etc. all that is claimed here is that your work, if accepted, will be reviewed.
You are free to reprint all or portions of your review for promotional purposes.
Please be patient. It sometimes takes us some time to get through the back-log.
If you wish to simultaneously file an application for submission into the Diskery distribution/sales system please visit the Diskery requirements pages and say so on your covering letter to us and it will be automatically forwarded there when we are done with it.
