(Redirected from: Divine Nation)
methyst was the collaboration between songwriter/guitarist Georgie Larin and singer/songwriter Liz Galea. Both were influenced by the music of the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s and together they produced a wide range of music styles within the heavy metal genre, ranging from slow heavy grooves to power metal, blues and medieval. In 2000 Amethyst launched their premier Flames To Eternity, with self-financed mass production in 2001. Having one record under their belt, a record well received with its energy, power and creativeness, they felt well positioned to take a place in the world of heavy metal. In late 2001 Amethyst would change their name to Divine Nation, however, and by time of writing, yet to release under that name.
