esmerize would open shop in 1988 under the original membership of Paolo Fiori (bass), Folco Orlandini (vocals), Paolo Chiodini (guitar), Piero Paravidino (guitar) and Andria Garavaglia (drums) but remained silent for their first 10 years, except only for live performances at clubs under the influence of Helloween, Gamma Ray, Iron Maiden and Dio. It would be 1998 when they finally got published with their Tales Of Wonder emerging on the 'Underground Symphony/Audioglobe' label featuring the remarkably stable original line-up, except for Paolo Fiori being replaced by AndreaTito four years earlier.
They would be silent for several more years until 2001 when Vultures Paradise arrived on the underground Metal scene. Their line-up would suffer the second membership change of their career with Chiodini leaving, and Luca Belbruno taking his place. Still struggling for a wider market, they changed labels to 'Dragonheart Records/Audioglobe' to release their 2002 opus Off The Beaten Path.
