Dying Breed is kind of infamous. They got loads of independent and college radio play with their 1996 single Hatefuck demo. Hatefuck was not their first release, however. They made their impact on the DIY Metal scene in 1994 with 2000 units of Repressed But Not Extinct hitting the streets. They would later jump on the "Japanamation" sensation of the 1990s with the completion of 5 such promotional film trailers. They played at Jack Coshik's 1998/99 Milwaukee Metalfest. They received regular requests for interviews and have played with many of the industry leaders in their musical style, including Six Feet Under (USA), Fear Factory, Suffocation and Cannibal Corpse. Their premier release was re-issued by 'Relapse Records' as a limited edition gargoyle shaped package, but despite all of this media coverage they have yet to secure a permanent record deal.
