3D House Of Beef
On a dingy Seattle night 3D House Of Beef was founded as an answer to the "overindulgent, overwrought Seattle scene", as their bumf put it. It wasn't until they moved to Alameda, a suburb of San Francisco, that their line-up solidified into Ted (ex-187 Calm; drums), John (bass), Nial (guitar/yells; previously featured in a recent 'Mercury/Polygram' signees Nihil, and live shows with Skrew, Nevermore, Kreator, Napalm Death, Tad, Enthroned and many other hard sounding bands). They began recording their music as a way to describe their unique experimental sound that could not be described with words. Indeed, their music was very experimental, almost noise-like. 4 recordings have been released to date, the 4th receiving international distribution under the name Similar Attack Pattern (1998), an album that contained mostly remixed tracks from past works.
