Building a following in rural Minnesota, a place not known for its music scene, Gracepoint would move to the slightly more musical Minneapolis to flog their blend of Metal fusion. In the move two of the original group would stay behind. The group now consisted of bassist Sam Van Moer (bass), Lance Reed (drums), Stefan Radzilowski (guitar) and Lon Kunze (guitar). After an extensive search, Matt Tennessen signed up for the vocal spot. In 2001 their own self-financed, self-produced competent debut Science of Discontent would be released on their own 'Candle Wax Records'. At time of printing they are scheduled to release a new demo with Lance Reed now on drums.
