he members of this glam and goth galactic band included Robin Black (vocals), Killer Ky (guitar), Starboy (guitar/keyboards), K-Tron (drums) and BB McQueen (bass), a team of individuals whose shtick included face paint, neon colour shirts and various bits of skin-tight leather and PVC. Coming to light in the late 1990s, Robin Black & The Intergalactic Rock Stars would follow the rise of the S&M fetish and gothic movements popular at the time (the tattooed and pierced Black himself being an active member in the scene) by being regular features at such establishments such as Toronto's Bovine Sex Club located in the 's infamous Queen West district and even an appearance on the infamous Canadian TV documentary program Sex TV; several appearances that would rise them to farther fame. Their fame would be further boosted by a Best Independent Video nomination on Much Music and multiple tours of Canada and Europe. Their shows, filled with pyrotechnics, loud guitars, smoke, ferocious attitude and smutty language have created a scene of their own.
Their discography would feature the debut full-length CD Planet: Fame (2002) and the earlier Star Shaped Single (2000), the first star shaped CD ever printed. Their discography would also include the We Came, We Saw, We Came DVD (2002) containing unreleased footage, live footage, official and unreleased videos and band interviews.
