Biography

Tyrant (1984-1990, 2001-present): a Heavy Metal band from Milan, Italy.

W

ith an early band membership of Giovanni "JJJ" Testori (guitars), Alessandro "Sandro" Rocchi (drums), Samuele "Sam" Marchetto (vocals) and Federico "Fico" Beccalori (bass), Tyrant would release a demo under the name of 2002 the same year as its namesake. The band struggled for another six years under extensive line-up changes before splitting in 1990.

In 2001 the band returned for a second attempt, this time boasting a much more stable membership with the only changes featuring Erminio Galli initially on drums on 2001 and Stefano "Steve" Fasoli assuming second guitar slot in 2007, the act would once again feature Beccalori, Testori, Rocchi and Marchetto for the release of Blues, Booze and Nothin' to Lose! in 2013. They have yet to record again.
