Qwestion (1998-present): a Progressive Metal band from Muskegon, Michigan, USA.
One day in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, in some old office buildings converted to practice rooms, Mike Griffith (bass) was jamming away when he decided it was time for a break. It will be a break that he would forever remember, for because of it he was introduced to a guitar player named John Hall. Hall had just moved to Hattiesburg with his family and had been playing with a band a few "offices" down. Hearing the music from down the hall he went to investigate. This introduction led to a unification. But it was soon discovered that life was not all peachy for the newly formed Hall And Griffith Project. After just a year, however, John and his family, for reasons beyond his control, moved back to his hometown of Muskegon, Michigan. The remaining members of the newly formed band, while remaining friends, went down separate musical paths. Hall would go on to play in Curbfeeler and move to Atlanta, Georgia. Griffith would move on to play in Famine, and play a supporting role in Hall's band Curbfeeler to eventually move to Midland, Texas.

After several years, Mike Griffith got a phone call from Hall. The whole conversation wasn't all about music, but it would eventually lead to unification a couple of years later. Griffith would move to Arlington, Texas, then Anaconda, Montana. While in Montana, Griffith's grandfather was killed in an auto accident and he went to take care of his grandmother in Mahnomen, Minnesota.

In the summer of 1999, Griffith was finally able to make the move to Muskegon, Michigan and harvest the fruits of their reunion. It didn't take long for the old friends to start right where they left off and eagerly began recording the material, which would eventually become their debut album Y in 2002 adding TBD (percussion), along with Jimmy Rad (turntable) as guest. The act has been silent since, however.
