Q1: How do I get my music listed?
Go to our Sellers Page and read the information.
On-line application forms are available.
Q2: How Do I update my music listing?
Contact our staff via the Contact Page.
Q3: How do I advertise at Diskery?
You don't, it's not allowed except from our members.
Q5: How do I verify the GEMM listing?
Visit http://emd.gemm.com. GEMM's database and ours are 90% compatible so
the search is easier.
Q6: Do I need my own separate listing at GEMM?
No. Infact it is discouraged. Setting up more than one listing in that
databases confuses the customer and will actually lessen your chance of
sales. Once you have confirmed your Diskery listing, leave it alone.
Q7: How do I find out what my sales currently are?
Send an e-mail to our sales staff. Be sure you send the e-mail from the
e-mail address you have on file with us so you don't have to face
security.
Q8: How do I connect directly to Diskery so I can have customers buy from my website?
Diskery will still administer the sale and shipping but you can have a
direct link to your sales page here by visiting: http://www.diskery.com/cgi-bin/diskery/members/ecomcat.cgi
Q9: How do I join the Diskery "Street Team"?
Same as above. By doing so you could earn a 5% commission on each sale
generated from your website.
Q10: How do I submit my new music and keep my old listed?
Just send in a new application with the new album name. See "How Do I Get My
Music Listed" question above, the application forms are designed to handle
this situation.
Q11: How do I submit more than one albuim on an application?
Repeat question #1 for each item.
Q12: Can I send a paper application instead of on-line?
Yes, just ask our staff for a copy or visit http://www.diskery.com/diskery/ftp/dagree.pdf to download a copy. Multiple AND single listings are possible on the paper form as
supplied.
Q13: Is there a cost to be on Diskery?
No.
Q14: Is there a sales quota to be on Diskery?
Yes. But it is rarely enforced. We would like to see each listing sell at
least 5 copies per year.
Q15: If I move or my new record company takes over my CD publishing how do I stay listed?
Tell a staff member if you are changing your address. This is important to
make sure you get paid if you get sales.
If you are changing who will supply us your music then you must have them
complete an application form (see 'Q1') then cancel yours. A settlement
cheque for your sales to that point is issued and all future payments are then
transferred to the new supplier.
Q16: How do I cancel my membership?
Tell a staff member. Keep in mind that if you cancel your membership you
cannot return for a period of 12 months (1 year) so make sure this is what
you want to do.
Q17: How do I cancel one of my listings?
If you are no longer selling an item you can have it "delisted" from our
catalogue temporarely or permanently by speaking with our staff. Cancelling
a listing does not cancel your account/membership with us, just that one
item which can be re-entered anytime in the future, unless it is your only
item in the catalogue, the removal of your last item also cancels your
account (but does not incur the 12 month return period).
Q18: Can I advertise I am on Diskery?
Yes, by all means! As a member you are also licensed to use our logo,
sloguns and other promotional material to sell your music. Your license also
includes that of the RRCA and Emperor Multimedia. The only image you are NOT
permitted to use is "Emperor Skel" (the chainmail wearing skeleton or his
collared head) as this is owned EXCLUSIVELY by Emperor Multimedia for its
own projects.
